Super Critical autoflower from Green House Seed Company is on of the new breed of autoflowers called SUPER autoflower. This amazing plant has a genetics of Big Bud x Skunk x White Widow and that makes it a well established plant with large potential for inside and outside grow operations. Green House seeds say that this is a classical Spanish strain that has been made to automatically flower and they have done a really great job as this is one of those sativa dominant crosses that I really like!
The greatest thing about this strain is that it is really though and can coup with different kind of environmental anomalies like irregular light cycles, heat stress, overwintering and under watering and still produce decent yield.

This autoflower is a really tall one and can get up to 150 cm in height if little stretching is induced so be careful and don’t place it in a very small grow room or closet as it can easily outgrow it and you will definitely need to use some kind of low stress training method like the Tie down one as High stress training in not acceptable on autoflowers.
Because of the great size this Super Critical strain will also take a long time to mature and i have heard that in some cases it could take up to 120 days to fully mature so it is not your typical two month autoflower. But because this sativa dominant strain will grow tall and for a long time you can expect premium yields up to 90 grams per plant indoors and 50 grams outdoors. The yield metrics of course are very generic as always and different growers will get different result but I think a 90 gram plant is worth those extra flowering days.
If you compare this Super Critical strain to regular Sativa-Indica cross strains you wont find much difference and will be amazed how far autoflowers have come in the yield and strength improvements. And this particular autoflower has an added benefit of an amazing smoke that can knock you out but also be a head stone if used properly.
I have seen this strain harvested a bit earlier than it should have been and then those buds haven’t yet degraded TCH into CBD and you get a more relaxing head high without that narcotic effect. But if you harvest that Super Critical properly when those trichomes have become milky and cloudy then you can get a very strong long lasting effect that can knock you out but finish with a really mellow ending. Many growers say that this has been one of the best smokes that they have had and from an autoflower that is a huge bonus and because of the sativa genetics you also get that distinct tall branch plant appearance that many growers like.

And the last thing to mention is the taste of this plant and I must say that it is not that special and mostly lower fruity aroma but you can get some spice in there. But for the most part you get that strong skunk smell which implies that it is really strong and potent. In the mount the smoke will not fell that harsh and you can actually get some of that spicy taste but overall it is not that distinct of a smoke as other strains.
